Celebrate International No Diet Day… in a bikini!

Happy International No Diet Day! (It should be everyday more like :3)

ANDDDDD…

:) woot! Surprise! Picture post!

So, this is the new bikini that I got (tags still on it lol). I LOVE the colors, my only problem is that it is a little snug on for the bottom half, but whatever. I like it too much to care. I know this isn’t any photoshoot at the beach like before, but it was still fun.

  1. I bow to yer awesomeness! :)

  2. Looks great! even though you’ve been referencing to the bottom being snug several times in your blog, it doesn’t look like it at all. I love the design, and it makes your boobs look nice :P im jealous

  3. FREAKING. AWESOME.

Love, love, LOVE it. [I want your skin] And I agree with Yoko, the design makes your boobs look HAWT.

  4. Doods that suit is HAWT! I love it!!! You look smokin’! Also, I adore the color of your room. I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned that before.

  5. Keep on rocking it!!!! :D

  6. Not to be really creepy or anything, but you’re way hot. Like, crazy hot. I find myself equal parts attracted and jealous.

Also, you and I have the same legs!

  7. Hi, Liz =] This is kind of unrelated to this particular post, but I’ve been going through many of your previous blog entries and I just had to tell you how greatly I admire you! Yesterday at school I heard something infuriating dealing with International No Diet Day. I came across your blog after looking up the INDD and obsessively reading different articles dealing with it. Now, I’m not sure if you will find this story to be interesting, but I want to share it with you because you seem to share a lot of my beliefs about body image and self acceptance.

Okay, so I’m a female freshman in high school. I am also bi-sexual. There is this girl at my school, Mandy, who I have had a huge ‘admiration-from-afar’ type crush on for nearly the entire year. She’s in my last period class and is super duper. Yesterday, Mandy was very excited about telling my math teacher (an avid BBQ enthusiast) about INDD. A very rude boy made a comment about how “only a girl Mandy’s weight” would be eager to “promote obesity.” I was infuriated! Mandy is not one of my close friends or anything, but she’s one of the nicest and prettiest girls I know! He was even speaking loudly enough for her to hear him! I was so mad, I don’t know how people can be so rude. I know that it doesn’t make a difference who impolite comments are made about (rude is rude, no matter what the circumstances are) but I don’t know how he could think to say such a thing about someone like her. She’s far more attractive than he could ever hope to be!

Reading your blog has been a lot of fun. Laughing at the foolish comments you’ve posted about really helped me calm down after what that kid said. You’re blog has really cheered me up. You tell it how it is. And I agree with what others have said about that bathing suit, it’s really cute! Nice pictures =]

  8. I gotta agree with everyone else, you look just amazing. Your skin just glows, your curves look extra lush, and I love how the pattern of your suit makes a perfect frame for your tum. It just seems to sing a siren song, drawing your attention to it. You go rawk that suit, and keep inspiring more of us to live fully in our own skins!

  9. That’s an awesome suit design and color ^^ Way to rock the bikini!

  10. you are GORGEOUS! I love your stomach, it looks just like mine and that makes me happy. I want your confidence. :]

  11. Just wanted to tell you I LOVE how confident you are to post these pictures up! I haven’t even gotten close to doing anything that exposed! The closest I’ve gotten was on my personal essay documentary that I just posted on my blog today…and I didn’t even show that much skin…

Proud of you! You look GREAT!

  12. Hi there, I love your blog, I linked to one of your bikini posts!
    Absolute fabulousness

I wonder if there could be away to start some kind page where people can post pictures like yours, and give it a political feminist gloss.

Because what you are doing is an act of protect, and I love it!

  13. You look amazing. I admire your beauty and style. And I sincerely wish I had your confidence and sense of self when I was your age.

  14. Supah-cute bikini :) I haven’t even been swimming in *9 freaking years* because of my body shame, so I really admire how confident and happy you are with yourself and your body. Wish I could have been that strong when I was a teen.

  15. Wow Liz…

You’re freakin’ gorgeous!! I wish my body looked like yours! I’m getting married in three months and I’m terrified of what my husband will think! eek!

  16. You look confident and awesome!
Wish I had had that kind of confidence when I was a teenager.
    Keep it up!

    Lalie

  17. You look fantastic!

  18. :) Thank you so much everyone! You guys make it totally worth it

  19. Dear Liz,
I have a confession to make- when I read your bikini resolution a while ago, I made my own bikini resolution to buy and wear my first ever bikini this summer. And I have done it, too! Its an emerald green halterneck jobby, with flecks of gold. You posting your pictures inspired me to do it, and I’m eternally grateful.

I’m not what most people would consider fat, but I am fatter than the average bikini wearer- I take a UK size 12 on the top and a 14 on the bottom. I am also milkbottle white all over, so getting flesh out was a revelation for me.

I suppose I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me to do this. Keep it up girl!

    P.S I think you look hot :)

  20. I am loving this! I just wrote about going bathing suit shopping. i haven’t posted pics yet, but I will tonight! you are awesome. keep it up!
