There are a few people who have wanted to know how to get in contact with me concerning projects, questions, advice, things like that. So I’m making this page to keep those comments here, so I can actually keep track of them.
As of right now I do not have a separate email for my blog, and I don’t really want to make my own email or school email public. Once I get back home and make another email account, or if I can find a way to get an email some other way (at home I have AOL, and i use my aol email on my mac, but I don’t have aol on my mac, so I dunno how to make new email accounts). So hopefully soon I’ll be able to change this.
But for right now I’d like to ask that anyone who has questions/comments/requests to leave their email in a comment, followed by what they are inquiring about.
Like I said, once I can manage to get a separate email set up, I’ll change this. For right now however, I’m going to have to do things this way.
(because honestly, whenever anyone leaves me a comment asking if I am interested in something, I approve it, but forget what post it was from, and then can’t find it. So hopefully this will work better for me, and will be easier for others to just leave me a comment here)
Thanks for understanding everyone.
Hey there.
I based a figure in this new drawing on you…. and as a small tribute, plastered (some) of your DA handle across her swimsuit.
Hope you don’t mind.

So I was googling “fat girl bikini” to justify the fact that i’m going down the shore and wearing a bikini for the first time since august, and came across your older post about you wearing a bikini. Good job!! Hahah you look good, gurrl. I’m glad I’m not the only one wearing a bikini “even though i really shouldn’t”. Personally, despite jiggling and other discrepancies like that, I probably prefer wearing a bikini to wearing clothes, and think it’s more form flattering. Have a great summer!

Woman, you are AWESOME! I have had my own long journey to try and love myself just the way I am. I have had such amazing adventures and always felt bad that I didn’t look the way this society tells us we’re ’supposed’ to look while I was doing my thing. Finally, I just let go. “Says Who?” and “So What?” have become my mantra. And now, I live my life, I don’t just wait for it.
All that being said, I am teaching a class this September in learning how to love our bodies just the way they are from the inside out. I have been doing a lot of research and today, I was SOOOOOOO flippin LUCKY to find your blog.
Thank you for being you, for putting it out there. I just want you to know, I’m going to use you as an example of loving ourselves just the way we are, celebrating ourselves just the way we are, and living our lives to the fullest just as we are in this moment today.
Thanks so much, all the very best to you. Nicole

Hello! I’ve been reading your blog for awhile now (you are awesomeness!), and I was wondering if I could feature you on my new Livejournal Community, “Pretty Plump”.
In this community I post daily picture sets of beautiful plus-size women. I am very impressed by your photography and artwork on deviantART. I think that you are gorgeous and that the members of my community would love to see some of your work.
If you give me permission, I would give a brief introduction to your blog, provide links to your blogs and your deviantART account, and display some of your photos (I have some in mind, but if you would prefer to select which ones to show, that would be great too).
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I admire you greatly for your blogging and your art—you are truly an inspiration to me and many other plus-size women.

Hello! I really found a lot of inspiration in your bikini pictures. I wish I could be that brave! You have a similar body type to mine (I think I am a little bigger), and I thought you looked really cute in that suit! I just wanted to tell you that I like your blog and if you have a facebook and want a new friend you can add me! Thanks. :]

I really like your website, what I like most is your ability to put yourself out there. My daughter was like that as well. She was heavy as a child, infact all of her life so far. But, she would put on her bathing suit and go to the pool or the beach. I could never do that, when I was heavy, only when I was small, which wasn’t to often. We already know that it unhealthy is not good. But I notice that people always play the health card when it comes to big people. People come in all shapes and sizes, and naturally beautiful people are created with beauty aids. The majority of us are not happy with who we are. So if you are then live, knowing that you don’t have to defend your fatness. I really like the black and white bathing suit, I think that would look good on my daughter too! Peace

Hi there,
I’m a writer for The Associated Press in New York. I’m working on a story about how plus size teens are portrayed in the media, particularly books. Are there ANY characters out there who speak to you, represent who you are beyond the stereotypes. I’m in search of real teens to interview. I think you’d be perfect. I love the blog, the photos, your style. Unfortunately, I’m on deadline so I’d need to hear from you asap. And any other plus size teens who might want to talk. My email is there and my number is 212 621-1600. Thanks!

I was searching for books with overweight characters in it and stumbled on your blog. I think it’s really awesome to have a voice.. I know being a big girl sometimes you don’t know how to reach out to talk to someone new. But we have to.. I really wanted to start a fat night or something but I don’t know women in my area that would be up for it… somewhere where we can eat and laugh and talk about our months or whatever… ANY IDEAS?

I saw your article in my local newspaper and I am a active FA “fat admirer” I would love to invite you to sign a petition to add a meaning to the word
BODacious
in the merriam websters dictionary to mean “A sexy fuller-figured person”. Our goal is to change the view of the world about our under represented plus size community. All should sign to support.
Thanks and keep up the great work you are doing.
